Pool of Tears

Pool of Tears

If you really knew me then you would know I don’t think I go at least 2 days without crying.

  1. Whoever said crying is bad? Maybe it’s better for you, whereas you’ve got other people who hold it in, and then it comes out in other ways (anger, aggression, bad moods, etc)…But, crying too much can be draining. So, try to figure out what’s going on inside of you. Are there certain things that trigger the crying? What makes you upset or sad so that you cry? Then, when you see those triggers coming, try to distract yourself with something else…if it’s a person you have to see on a daily basis (i.e. parents, siblings, etc), try to keep a journal and write in it the SECOND after you talk to that person. If it’s thoughts you have of yourself (you’re not good enough, you’re worried about xyz), the second you have that thought, do something to distract yourself. Don’t let that one thought turn into a spiral of bad thoughts. Some people will wear a bracelet, and everything they’re about to have a bad thought, they turn the bracelet over to the other side, and mentally say “STOP” in their minds.

I know it sounds cheeesy but it works…just some suggestions 🙂
