Waiting on salvation I prayed for
Life has been extremely hard
And so
I prayed for this thing to come in my life and its taking forever
I know that it’s meant to be, and I know that it’s going to come really soon like actually
At least it should, unless i’m mistaken otherwise
Like, you know, intuitively, you like everyone has their own relationship with Allah and how he gives them signs
I should be receiving something soon coming into my life that’s supposed to like really give me salvation
But it’s taking unbelievably long, and as a result, it’s agonizing
Not the craving per se, but the situation i’m left in when it’s not here
So, what I really want support about is the spiritual aspect of this; When you’re meeting for something and have not received yet
I know everything happens for a reason
I know it’s for my highest good And i’m gonna experience peak happiness later
But until then
I’m in an extremely hard place in life

Assalaamu Alaikum,
May Allah ease any hardships and difficulties you are going through in life. May He grant you endurance and sabr as you wait for His guidance, blessings and salvation.
Dua’a is our best weapon in this and faith in His willingness to listen, accept and grant them. As Muslims we are also tasked with believing that Allah’s wisdom & timing for when our dua’s get granted is greater than our understanding and anticipation. Once we accept, then it becomes a matter of figuring out what to do to increase the chances of our duas being accepted. Here are some steps I recommend:
1. Belief that He will accept and grant your needs/wishes when it is best for you. He will be the God that you believe He is.
2. Decrease the sins in your life and increase implementing sunnahs.
3. Increase your effort: Making dua during the time of tahajjud while you are in sujjud is the closest we can get to Allah and the greatest time of acceptance for duas.
4. Never give up. Your persistence and effort shows how badly you want Allah to accept your duas. If we are not ready to put in the work it takes to get these blessing how can we expect Allah to grant them.
I understand the difficulty of bearing un-answered prayers. Know that often times our unanswered wishes Allah’s way of protecting us. We don’t know if a relationship, a car, a house, or a degree will be harmful for us in this dunya or worse, harmful for our aakhira. Also it is also important to remember that Allah’s guarantee for fulfilling our duas and granting us ease does not include only in this life. Our duas can also be reserved to benefit us in the afterlife. Finally the best of us, the prophets of Allah had some of the biggest tests of unfulfilled duas. Let’s follow their example of patience and trust in Allah’s wisdom and plan for us inshaAllah.
